How do I make a purchase?

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse Lanes Garden Shop and add any item you wish to buy to your shopping cart, by pressing the Add Shopping Cart button (situated on each product page.) You can view your shopping cart at any time by pressing the your basket link at the top of the page. When you have completed your shopping, press the Checkout link on your basket page. (The checkout link is also available on the Your Basket Page.)

What credit/debit cards do you accept? 

We accept the all the major credit/debit cards through Protx, Pay by credit or debit card online Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro & JCB 

Can I pay for my order via Paypal?

Yes, just press the Pay & Credit /Debit cards button on the Order Summary page in the checkout process.

How safe is it to shop at Lanes Garden Shop?

If you select the Pay by credit or debit card online button you will be linked to our 128 bit secure server, where you will be asked to enter your credit/debit card details. All transactions are manually processed through LLoyds TSB Cardnet and are 100% safe.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes please contact us first by email with the oder product and ref number for the product and we will let you know the full details on how to pay by cheque. Lanes Garden Shop accepts UK crossed cheques. The order will not be dispatched until the cheque has been cleared. Cheque clearance can take up to 7days.

Can I place an order by phone?

You can place an order over the telephone Mon-Fri 9 - 5pm. Telephone Number is: 01460 57703 You can telephone us with your order and credit/debit card details and we will process the whole order for you.

How will I know if my order is in stock? 

In the event an item is temporarily out of stock we will notify you by email of any delay and dispatch the item as soon as it is in stock. All products shown on the store are in stock and item which is our of stock will be market out of stock and not be able to be purchased.

My order is for a gift, will there be price tags or an invoice with the order?

There are no price tags on our items. If your order is being sent to alterative delivery address, then a delivery slip will be sent with the parcel and an invoice is sent to the billing address. If you do not want an invoice sent with your order, please let us know when ordering.

How much is the delivery?

Is VAT already included in your prices? 

Yes, all prices include VAT where applicable at the current rate of 17.5%

I have not received an order confirmation

Once you have completed your online order you will automatically be sent an order confirmation viae mail. If you have not received the email, this maybe because you have entered your email address in correctly in the checkout process. Please contact us and we will confirm your order.

I have not received my order   

If you have not received your order please ring our Customer Care telephone number 01460 57703.

Can I return or exchange my order?  

You can return or exchange your order within 14 days from receipt of order. The item(s) must be returned unused and in original packaging to receive a full refund/exchange** Return delivery costs are non-refundable. Please notify us via email sales@somersetgardenshop.co.uk  or telephone 01460 57703.** Only the cost of the product is refunded on orders delivered within the UK  

A returned or exchanged item is the customer's responsibility until received by Lanes Garden Shop. We therefore advise you use an insured delivery method to return an item to Lanes Garden Shop, as we are not accountable for parcels being returned that are lost or damaged in transit.

Exception to returns or exchanges

The supply of goods made to the consumers specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. 

My order was damaged in transit what do I do?   

In the unlikely event you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 2 days of receipt of order via email: sales@somersetgardenshop.co.uk or phone 01460 57703. We can then arrange for a refund or replacement, if in stock. Photographic proof of the damage may be needed or we may require the damaged item to be returned to us. In this case Lanes Garden Shop would reimburse you for the reasonable delivery cost of the returned damaged item.
